The 2025 AACTA Awards are all set to take place on Friday, February 7, 2025, on the Gold Coast.
Ahead of the ceremony, here’s the complete list of nominations as well as everything else you need to know about next year’s AACTA Awards.
What do the AACTA Awards stand for?
AACTA stands for Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts, a professional not-for-profit organisation of film and television practitioners in Australia. The organisation annually recognises and rewards achievements in Australian film and television with an awards ceremony.

Who votes for the AACTA Awards?
Voting is exclusive to AACTA members.
An AACTA General membership is open to anyone and everyone.
An AACTA Professional membership is only available to those who successfully apply for accreditation in their field/s of expertise.
Where are the AACTA Awards being held?
The 2025 AACTA Awards will be held at HOTA’s Theatre in Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast. The ceremony will kick off on February 7, and you’ll be able to tune in from home via Channel 10 and 10Play.
Who’s hosting the AACTAs this year?
Russell Crowe, the Oscar-winning actor and president of AACTA, will host the awards ceremony in 2025.
Henry Cavill, Sophie Monk, Asher Keddie, and Teresa Palmer will all present categories during this year’s AACTAs. Furthermore, Robbie Williams will take to the stage to perform.
